Let’s be honest…

I’m that girl who’s depressed. I’m that girl who has nasty habits. I hate smoking and I hate slitting me skin, but I can’t help it. But what really gets me going is when people say it’s for attention. No it’s fucking not. I hate it, but I’m addicted, and it helps me. Maybe instead of being nasty, you should help? Instead of passing judgment, maybe you could do something? I don’t like it anymore than you do. But I keep it a secret and I keep it to myself, I don’t vocalise how I feel. So please stop with the dirty looks, and just have an open mind. Maybe that one act of kindness could save someone.

Idk why I'm telling u this, but u give good advice so... I feel really insecure about my complexion. I'm not black but i am light brown. A lot of the guys that i was ever intrested were white & i can't help but feel that if i ever come across that 1 special guy, and he's white, he wouldn't like me bc of my shade. I know people will say "don't wry, you'll meet the right guy who will love you for you" but i can't help but feel like they'll just classify me as 'black' tho Im brown compared to them.

Don’t ever feel insecure about your colouring! The right guy for you won’t care about that; he’ll care about you and your wonderful personality. And who’s to say a white man won’t love your skin? One of my friends from Uni is dating a white man, and their mixed races have never been a point of concern. Take a look at Hollywood too; Ryan Gosling has a Cuban American wife, and Chrissy Teigen has an African American husband. While the inconsiderate assholes are always louder, don’t forget that there are good guys out there too.
